SPECIALTY COFFEE

Specialty coffee is high-quality coffee that achieves a minimum score of 80 on a scale of 100, according to the methodology of the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA). It is distinguished by careful production, which includes sustainable cultivation, selective harvesting, and a processing method that preserves the sensory characteristics of the bean. This results in a beverage with complex and pleasant flavors and aromas, such as fruity, floral, and chocolatey notes, unlike the intense bitterness of traditional coffee.
